More Cool Costumes

How much time would these take? Pity they didn't do the obvious with a chain-sword. But then I guess they wouldn't be allowed to walk around a 'Con with one of those... Posted by Picasa

Putting Things In Perspective

Enter your yearly earnings and see where you are according to The Global Rich List. I have no idea how accurate this is....but kind of interesting.

You will need to convert your AU$ to another currency, do so here

WoT11

Have finished the Prologue and I think more has happen in those 86 pages than in Volumes 5 to 9 of the books themselves. All the pieces are rushing into place.

I think Nick'd like this book (if he was still reading WoT that is), plenty of Matt action. And I don't think I've come across a single female character "sniffing and folding their arms under their breasts..." quote yet. That's not to say the characters don't do one of the other, just not both at the same time. Wonders will never cease...

It never fails to astound me that some people have nothing better to do

Way to many here.

Book 11

"...the thrilling penultimate volume..."

Penultimate? That means there's a finish in sight. To a WoT book? You've got tobe joking. So long as Jordan needs another boat, there'll be more volumes.

Still - it's a damn side better than that never-ending Dark Tower shite that the King-Bot 2001 keeps churning out...

Luck

It's always funny when you put $2 into a vending machine, the machine says the item you purchased is sold out, spits out $2 worth of change and still gives you the item that was supposedly sold out.

Finally a Holden with style.

After years of designing Commodore variants, Holden has produced a head-turning prototype that has the motoring world talking. It is based on the 1953 FJ Holden. Though this is not powered by some ancient engine....it features a Supercharged 6.0 Liter V8 with 640 bhp. Unfortunately the prototype is showing off a push-button automatic gear box. The question must be asked: with a 640 bhp blown V8, for the love of God why a bloody auto?

For the record

One day I'll learn to duck. Posted by Picasa

At least I'm alternating eyes.

Question of the day

Can you really continue to sing about how horrible and unfair when your first two albums have sold over 10 million copies?

At this point your day is ruined
