Richard Hammond, a British television presenter known for co-presenting Top Gear and Brainiac is in as stable condition in hospital. He was injured when the jet-powered car he was driving crashed during filming for the former. The "Vampire" car, which holds the British land speed record, overturned whilst being driven at speeds of up-to 280mph at Elvington airfield near York, in what was suggested to be an attempt at bettering the previous record. It has been alleged that he suceeded in a previous attempt. It was during his final attempt that the crash occured. Emergency services were called to the scene at 5.45pm local time (16:45 UTC).

All-Ages Gigs Suck...

because of the stupid restrictions on alcohol.
because of screaming 12 year old drama-students.
because of stupid children who don't know concert etiquette - if you stand 5 rows from the front of the stage you forfeit your right to complain if someone jostles you. You want to what a show in peace? Go stand in the balcony or buy the DVD.

Apart from that - it was a great show.

BTW - the second support act for the night (I don't count physical theatre-wankers as a support act)? Check out this interview. Best quote:
