Of course there are good reasons why they would choose an IP like that...but, when you can pull a professional family portrait from a single pixel of a frame from a 10 year old, dodgy, black and white security camera, who knows what sort of computer technology CSI:

Mate, you're talking about a country where every single fictional phone number is connected to the non-existent 555 exchange so they can't get sued for accidentally using somebody's real phone number. They've probably started doing the same thing for IP addresses, and suspension of disbelief be damned.
I think you hit upon that 'good reason' I mentioned in the post.
