Just seen Spidey 3 - and yes he takes his bloody mask off again in the climactic battle. If fact - his enemies have gotten so good at doing this that they're able to cleanly remove it without tearing it just with the swing of a pipe!
Strangest bit - when I thought we were doing a flash-back to the dance sequences from The Mask.
Worst bit - whenever Aunt May turns up with her extra-slow pearls of wisdom. That and the fact that we seem to spend 80% of the bloody film watching Peter and Mary-Jane get all huffy and angry with each other and let their 'true wuve' fall about because spoilerish they won't bloody talk to each other and tell each other what's happening!!! end spoilerish
Dumbest bits? You could tell whenever it was bad Peter because he'd brush his fringe down to look like some reject from My Chemical Romance.
Best bit? His Royal Bruceness of course.
Sam Raimi? He sure could use an editor. The pace really seemed to drag through alot of the film until we got to the action sequences. Maybe because so much of it seemed a re-hash of the exact same angst we'd gone through in Spiderman 2?
Best bit 2? Anytime J K Simmons was on the screen. The man just nails the role.
