Grant - gratz on the promotion. Guess that might be one of the multitude of listed rants you have that we can mark off(Why won't they let me program!!!!!!).

Tacky HTML - well since the oral english teacher (cue Beavis and Butthead sniggers) has finally worked out how to turn java on on his browser (and they let him design a database - sheesh) - I might finally get around to updating that.

BBQ - well - Dan-da-man's turnin up - Nick is (assuming I let him play cricket this Saturday) is coming - Sadam's coming - even Josh is turning up after work. The only no-show so far is Lance (wimp - China is not an acceptable excuse).

News stuff - don't know if this is what you're looking for Nick - but I always find crikey a reasonable source for news/information/analysis of political and economic goings-on in Australia at the moment. Keep in mind that the site is run by a former finance journalist-turned disgruntled former Jeff Kennett press secretary-turned target for defamation actions by almost anyone. Take his slant into account and it tends to be a pretty good read. OF course - theres always http://news.google.com.au/.
