Hmm, good point about the effectiveness of the (highlight next bit to read it) Daily Prophet's slander campaign against Dumbledore. That part of it isn't fully explained in this one. I thought you were talking about Dumbledore giving Harry the mushroom treatment. Maybe JKR is trying to make a point about the evils of unelected authority figures and media consolidation. *g*
